Eastbourne Auctions is a busy expanding auction house selling items in monthly auctions online..
We are looking for a motivated team player with an interest in auctioneering to join our expanding business.
**This varied role includes**
Greeting sellers, explaining our services and booking in items they have for sale
Assisting our cataloguers describe the items / lots and produce and online catalogue
Taking images of the lots an uploading to our online software
Setting up the saleroom ready for auction days
On sales days, operating the live bidding systems and handling telephone bids
After the sale, assisting buyers by handing them their won lots, returning unsold items to the sellers
Packing and shipping of lots for bidders
**Skills required**:
A can-do attitude
Good communication skills
Attention to detail and be proactive
Good computer skills
Knowledge of the auction business would be an advantage

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
