Yard Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to materials handling. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment.

**Duties**:

- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials within the yard
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or yard environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis

**Skills**:

- Heavy lifting capabilities
- Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling procedures
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other equipment

**Salary**: £11.44-£17.16 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 55 per week
