This firm is a leading provider of legal services to the health, social care, housing and emergency services sectors, as well as in the field of professional regulation. Across the UK, this includes all forms of NHS organisations, governmental and regulatorybodies, registered providers, insurers, police, fire and rescue services, independent health and social care providers, charities and GP practices.
**Your new role**
The Legal Administrator's principal role in Birmingham is to provide fee-earners with the support they need to perform the task of providing legal services to clients. You will be helping with the fee-earners day to day workload with duties including arrangingconference calls, meetings, travel and booking conference rooms, as well as coordinating photocopying, printing, scanning, organising couriers, sending out of letters, and faxes.
For meetings, you will prepare and collate Bundles/e-bundles, ET3 forms. Also, the role involves daily administration tasks like the opening and closing of files, including conflict checking, setting up contacts, running initial schedules, electronic filing,record keeping and archiving of files.
You will act as a point of contact for internal and external clients, taking internal and external telephone queries, and responding as appropriate and ensuring that all messages are passed on in a timely manner. You will need to have knowledge of Excel, asyou will coordinate data entry and manage spreadsheets.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PDF software
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Good phone manner
- Highly organised and proactive
