Vecom is looking for someone with many qualities that we believe align with 'the Vecom way'. Within our Vecom community, we hope to find another member to join our pickling hall operation which is a key component of our core activity of Chemical Technical Cleaning.

As a Chemical Technical Cleaner, you will be a part of many projects within the UK but will be working independently within our Bury branch to complete these projects. These projects will be occasionally independently completed when fully trainer or within a team with other operators in the pickling hall.
- **What does this Job require?**_

Within this role you will be asked to chemically surface treat various metal parts within the pickling hall here while adhering to the Health & Safety and Quality focused procedures in place already.

The main body of the job will be discussing the work assignments with the production manager and the team based on the planning and work order forms and performing the task.

Unloading of delivered parts by forklift and/or overhead crane (previous training would be advantageous, however training can be provided if required).

Weighing and labelling of the unloaded parts to ensure full traceability from start to finish.

Working independently according to schedule when required or within part of the team.

Performing incoming and outgoing quality checks of the supplied parts.

Reporting deviations or quality issues and/or details of delivered and processed parts to the Production Supervisor.

- Full UK Driving Licence
- Fluent in English Language (Written & Spoken)
- Fork lift licence (Not required but advantageous)
- Overhead Gantry Crane Trained (Not required but advantageous)
- First Aid Trained (Not required but advantageous)

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.50 per hour

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
