Fleet Coordinator - Premier Fleet Services

Jaxdene Solutions, a premier recruitment agency, is thrilled to partner with a leading client, seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator. This role is crucial for ensuring operational excellence and enhancing customer satisfaction through efficient coordination and management of fleet services.

About the Role:
As the Fleet Coordinator, you will act as the primary contact within our workshop, setting a high standard for service as you greet drivers and visitors. This role requires a highly organized, proactive individual who thrives in managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the frontline ambassador for our workshop, providing a warm welcome to drivers and visitors.
- Ensure job cards are created for all maintenance work and accurately allocated to technicians.
- Act as the first point of contact for breakdowns, organizing repair agents and ensuring effective communication with Operations Managers.
- Monitor and report on customer delivery KPIs, liaising with Operations Managers to ensure transparency and proactive communication with customers, especially regarding vehicle breakdowns.
- Coordinate with Operations Managers to ensure adherence to vehicle presentation schedules for maintenance and repair works.
- Maintain and update vehicle status in real-time, ensuring the Operations Team is informed of any changes.
- Manage schedules for MOT, tachograph inspections, PMIs, and other statutory inspections, ensuring compliance and reporting any discrepancies.
- Liaise with rental companies for servicing and repairs, maintaining fleet availability.
- Ensure fleet records are compliant with DVSA guidelines and best practices, maintaining up-to-date records on the Blue Crystal system.
- Monitor supplier performance for outsourced work, reporting any service level agreement failures.
- Maintain inventory levels within the parts store and ensure compliance with health & safety and industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

- A solid educational background with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment, preferably in an administrative role.
- Familiarity with fleet telematics systems such as Verilocation and an understanding of 'O' Licence requirements.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of effectively prioritizing tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with colleagues and external partners.
