Playspace Designer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Playspace Designer** to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, working from our North Yorkshire office in Selby.

As **Playspace Designer**, your role will be to design and cost our projects to deliver our customers’ expectations. The end goal is to create fun, engaging, and inspiring play spaces for children across the country. You will do this by using your existing skills in AutoCAD, 3DS Max, and the Adobe suite. Producing work of outstanding quality and within scheduled time and to a deadline, our **Playspace Designer **will play a key role in supporting the achievement of the UK’s sales objectives.

HAGS use the latest hardware including the most recent 3XS high-performance desktop PC’s and the latest versions of Autodesk software and Adobe Creative Cloud. We regularly update our rendering software and are continually seeking out new and upcoming innovations to further improve the quality of our designs.

**What you’ll do as our Playspace Designer**
- Create concept design schemes through to fully detailed presentation material & associated priced proposals for projects to our core markets of Local Authorities, Schools, Housebuilders and Leisure
- Consider the requirements of all the major stakeholders in this process to deliver creative solutions which meet the needs of our customers and positively promote our products and services. Harness the design function as an effective sales tool
- Work to agreed timescales per project and manage your workload alongside stakeholder objectives to deliver the best output
- Use our business-specific quoting system to create fully designed and costed project solutions in line with our client’s specifics needs and to set budgets
- Contribute to idea sharing and design best practice with your peers to enable the departments design output continuously evolves, progresses, and maintains industry-leading standards

**About You**:

- Working knowledge and at least two years’ experience of AutoCad, 3DS Max and the Adobe Suite
- Working knowledge of Corona Renderer an advantage
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Have a willingness to learn and quickly adapt both individually and as part of a wider design team
- Ability to take on board constructive feedback, and work collaboratively to attain the highest quality of work output
- Able to follow brand guidelines alongside creative and technical direction
