**Learning Support Assistant - Newcastle**

Milk Education are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant for a Primary School in Newcastle to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible This is a school, who prides itself on being happy and caring, with high standards of attainment and behaviour.

**Learning Support Assistant role & responsibilities**:

- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
- Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
- Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
- Deliver catch-up sessions

**Learning Support Assistant Non-negotiables**:

- Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
- Must have a passion for education
- Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
