Summery:
As a vital member of the Community Facilities & Resources Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our community hub. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the premises, assisting user groups, and upholding health and safety standards.

Your Duties:

- Perform caretaking duties, such as maintenance, equipment setup, and cleaning, to ensure the Centre and Sea Cadets Building are in optimal condition.
- Assist Council staff, groups, and organisations with room setup and provide support as needed.
- Monitor the premises during emergencies and act as a designated key holder.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the car park area, including snow clearance and defect reporting.
- Uphold Health & Safety regulations and Council policies, including fire safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to the public and promote equality of opportunity in service delivery.

Your Profile:

- Minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade A-C, NVQ level 2, or equivalent.
- At least one year of caretaker experience with expertise in cleaning, maintenance, equipment handling, security, or first aid.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, CoSHH, and cleaning material stock management.

- Identifies and meets customer needs effectively.
