This is a a part-time role, three days a week plus occasional holiday cover.

The role will provide full administrative and secretarial support in a highly professional manner. To work effectively on a day-to-day basis by making the best use of their time and available resources to achieve their aims and objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Balance delivery of key tasks, prioritising work accordingly to business pressures and deliverables.
- Sensitive management of confidential, strategic, personal and business critical information.
- Make travel arrangements (rail/air/accommodation), booking in advance where possible to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Assist with producing papers for Board / Committee meetings & distributing board minutes.
- Manage professional responses to telephone calls, taking ownership of queries.
- Establish and maintain administrative systems and processes which ensure appropriate document storage and retrieval.
- Manage expense claims and ensure timely turnaround of invoices and purchase orders.
- Photocopying and other general office duties.

**Risk**
- Responsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and procedures.

- Senior Management and Executives of ABG and AL.
- HR Department/Internal Audit

**Knowledge / Skills / Experience**
- Experienced Secretary ideally having worked in a banking / legal environment.
- Highly proficient in Word / Intermediate level in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Accurate typist with experience of working on legal documentation with close attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with a positive demeanor.
- Capable of working under pressure and using own initiative and with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously whilst remaining flexible, proactive and efficient.
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, using initiative and to establishing deadlines.
- Aptitude for learning and willingness to develop & expand role where required.
- Demonstrate, through words and behaviours, an in-depth understanding and strong personal commitment to your work.
- Professional telephone manner & discretion essential.
