Qc Assistant

This client is looking for a QC Assistant.

The hours will be Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm

They are looking for someone that is happy to be based in a Lab environment with good attention to detail. Their main task will be to help the team with the sampling process and inspection of components.

**The purpose of this role is**:

- To carry out routine quality inspection of bulk, filled and packed products to ensure they are within the quality specifications.
- To carry out equipment calibration: scales, pH meters.
- To issue certificates of analysis when required.
- To sample components.
- To monitor the hygiene level of the equipment and the area.
- To retest the finished goods.
- To cover other Quality Control members absence as required.

**What you need**:

- As a minimum educated to A level at C grade or above in Math’s, English and Science or equivalent.
- Microsoft packages, Word, Excel and SAP experience would be an advantage.

The location of this role is tricky to get to by public transport, so it would suit someone that has access to transport.
