We have an exciting opportunity in the Department of Computer Science for someone with a passion for Multi-Modal Data Fusion Techniques looking to use their skills in Agriculture.

You will join the OAK research group in our large and diverse academic department of Computer Science. Your standing and approaches will further strengthen our strong international research profile and our reputation for novel, research-led teaching.

You will work in a well-connected team with world-leading reputations in the OAK research group. We are well known internationally for our research and are one of the largest research groups in the UK.
You will use your skill of Multi-Modal Data Fusion Techniques to provide essential support to the OAK research group, helping to ensure the reputation of the University by using multi-modal technologies into agriculture.

You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for the University of Sheffield by using your skill of machine learning to extract features of disease patterns from UAV hyperspectral images.
As this role requires knowledge of multi-modal data fusion techniques, it provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in machine learning.

In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing feature extraction methods. Working alongside Dr. Po Yang, the role will offer you an opportunity with responsibility for developing feature extraction algorithms and delivering an evaluation report to access this performance. You will add substantial benefit to the OAK research group by making an impact in the interdisciplinary field of agriculture-computer science.
