**Trainee Product Assistant Job in Lymington**

Dovetail Recruitment are excited to be offering someone an excellent chance to start a career within a fast-moving product based company within the creative industry. If you’re looking for an opportunity to learn on the job and get into a fun company in the health and beauty industry that can offer you excellent long term career prospects, then this could be the role for you

You will be trained within the business and develop skills in product and project management, supply chain and logistics. This will be an interesting role, and you will become a key and important part of the business. Full training will be provided.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist the Product Manager with administration, documentation, and process management of the product and supply chain areas
- Monitor, track and report on products and samples to ensure all are delivered to clients following their specification
- Take ownership of product samples, ensuring they are labelled, organised and kept in the correct storage place at all times
- Amend any purchase orders as required
- Assist with quality control inspections of products
- Speak to factories and customers to gain updates, further information and resolve any problems
- Ensure all costs, quantities, details and paperwork are compliant and match the system
- Assist the Product Manager with tracking deadlines across projects
- Input data onto the system and set up, maintain and update digital files

**Knowledge & Experience Required**:

- Excellent attitude with the desire to learn and become fully immersed in the business
- Attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and getting things right first time
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to learn and develop continuously in the role
- Driving licence

**Salary & Benefits**:

- £20,000 per annum
- Hours of Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
- Free onsite parking
- 20 days holidays + bank holidays
- Future progression and development opportunities
- Friendly office with the occasional dog visit
