**Senior Software Tester, £70k/annum, London (hybrid)**

Well-known B2C brand is looking for a Senior Software Tester to join their team. You will be joining our team of 3 testers, working on their global ecommerce platform. To support this traffic, they face and solve interesting tech challenges using the latestcloud technologies available.

**The role**
- Own and drive the QA strategy within your product workstream
- Working alongside developers to plan and build automation tests
- Creating new and maintaining UI automation tests which are written using JavaScript, Testcafe and Gherkin
- Perform manual and automated API tests using Postman
- Define test scenarios based on business requirements
- Debug, record and manage defects throughout their lifecycle

**Skills set needed**
- Solid understanding of a breadth of testing types and techniques
- Experience in maintaining an automation suite, ideally in JavaScript
- Proven track record of test planning and manual & automated test execution of web-based systems and APIs
- Ability to switch between different projects within the business as required
- Be a great team player, strong verbal and written communicator
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical thinker
- Experience of Agile principles and practices
- Continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to improve
