Devon Wildlife Trust (DWT) is Devon’s leading wildlife conservation charity, with over 36,000 members, 350 regular volunteers, 100 staff and 63 nature reserves. We are one of the larger locally based organisations that collectively make up The Wildlife Trusts. DWT has pioneered the reintroduction of beavers in England and the restoration of internationally rare habitats like Culm Grassland.

Saving Devon’s Treescapes is a 5 year project aiming to plant and nurture 250,000 trees outside of woodlands across Devon in response to Ash Dieback.

Your role will be to provide advisory services to landowners and farmers to support the successful delivery of the project’s tree resilience targets, which will secure a more coherent network of habitats across Devon in response to the ash dieback disease.

This is a full-time, permanent post contractually based at Cricklepit Mill, Exeter, with regular travel across Devon expected. This post is being offered as a permanent role with funding secured until 31 March 2026.
