As a Planner, you will provide services as required by our clients, which may include:

- _ Leading the planning discipline team on high complexity, high risk project or programmes_
- _ Creation and maintenance of project schedules that assist and align with project requirements_
- _ Adherence to NEC or FIDIC contract processes for management of schedule data and submissions_
- _ Assist project team to develop status reports to keep management informed on project progress_
- _ Oversight of day-to-day management, staffing and the implementation of Integrated Project Controls standards and processes_
- _ Development of the project schedules in conjunction with the project manager and project team_
- _ Reducing uncertainty, know objectives and improve efficiency_
- _ Interacting with the project team to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original plan_
- _ Interacting with and assisting the project managers to schedule work and coordinate assignments_
- _ Evaluation of project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas_
- _ Breakdown of the critical path and constraints to understand the effect of changes to schedule and recommend a work-around_
- _ Assisting project managers to maintain timely and effective change management processes and procedures_
- _ Conducting analysis to understand alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules_
- _ Undertaking of project reviews_
- _ Monitoring and consolidating of overall project plans_
- _ Monitoring the project managers reporting system summarising the progress status of all projects_
- _ Monitor and advise on status of project KPIs_

**Qualifications**
You have professional Project Controls experience specialising in Planning & Scheduling in multiple sectors across the whole Project lifecycle. You have strong knowledge and proficiency with Primavera (P6) and/or other planning and resourcing software. You are able to coordinate and work with other teams and have multi-disciplinary knowledge.

You will be a strong communicator and leader with the ability to influence, manage, motivate, coach and develop a team by creating a diverse, inclusive and performing team that is promoting empowerment and contribution and with a passion to build a supporting community and network beyond the delivery activities.

You should also have;
- _ A degree in a relevant technical or management field or suitable equivalent qualifications and experience._
- _ A membership to a relevant professional body e.g., Association for Project Management, Project Management Institute._
- _ Excellent verbal and written communication skills._
- _ The ability to make risk-based decisions where the parameters are unclear and judgement is needed._
- _ Project team leadership with the ability to mobilise, inspire and lead by example._
- _ Strong stakeholder management experience._
- _ Flexibility to work within different sectors and with diverse clients._
- _ Ability to navigate through conflict situations and defusing tension._
