Our client is the fastest-growing leading lifestyle brands in the UK offering premium product across mens and ladies apparel and accessories. They have an excellent opportunity for a QC Assistant to join the team at their Derby site.
Quality Control Assistant - The Role:

- To inspect product using the AQL process and sampling method
- To ensure that all non-compliance issues are qualified, quantified, and accurately reported
- To hit daily inspection targets as set by the QA Manager
- To undertake any re-processing on AQL inspection failures
- To conduct 100% inspections on AQL inspection failures
- To reprocess Ecom and Retail returns stock.
- Has a clear understanding of commercial quality levels within a premium brand
- Can confidently identify major and minor faults within an AQL process.
- Understands construction methods on clothing products. Open to learning on footwear.
- Has knowledge of common manufacturing issues / mistakes
- Has a basic knowledge of fit and quality standards within clothing.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the industry
- A basic knowledge of garment construction, shoe and accessories production methods, and who preferably comes from a supplier, retail background or Internal warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of fabric types, printing methods and finishes.
- PC literate - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
