Material Planner

Elevation is delighted to represent a global leading automotive manufacturing business as they look to hire a Material Planner into their organisation based in Goole. My client is looking for an innovative Materials Controller to join the team. In your new role, to ensure all materials / parts for each vehicle are ordered and supplied on time using MRP.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring inventory levels of all raw materials and factored products
- Working with the Procurement Department to support orders, invoicing and being the first point of contact for suppliers
- Successfully working cross functionally with other departments to ensure the effective running of production and on time deliveries.
- Maintain all delivery schedules for inbound materials
- Help with stock takes
- Proven experience and working knowledge of ERP/MRP system.
- Demonstrated experience within a purchasing and/or planning role
- Relevant experience in a working or manufacturing environment.
- Proven analytical, planning and strong organisation and Excel skills.
