- Role Purpose
- An opportunity has arisen for two
- **Food Safety Factory Cleaners** to join the processing team at our Long Sutton site. To carry out cleaning duties throughout the ADM Long Sutton site to ensure compliance with BRC and factory requirements.
- Your Responsibilities
- To maintain a high level of cleanliness predominantly through a dry-cleaning regime.
- To assist the Site Manager or Supervisor in maintaining BRC and factory standards in line with the company’s Quality Policy.
- To ensure food safety following the company’s Quality Manual.
- Periodic sampling of equipment for allergic or microbiological analysis.
- To follow PPE requirements in line with the company’s health and safety policies.
- To follow the Environmental Management system in line with policy.
- Record and logging of all cleaning activities.
- To be a member of the HACCP team and attend BRC food safety meetings.
- To ensure spillages are dealt with promptly.
- To use only approved cleaning materials in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and COSHH regulations.
- To ensure all waste containers are emptied daily.
- Responsible for compacting of waste products as required.
- To report any machinery issues during your shift to the appropriate department.
- To clean and maintain the site.
- To clean working vehicles, fork lifts, teleporters etc.
- To always follow site Health and Safety rules.
- Your Profile
- To work independently and with others.
- Good communication skills, being able to build working relationships.
- Ability to work towards deadlines.
- Responsible, reliable and hard working.
- Fork lift experience and manual handing ability.
