We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Accounts team.

**Duties**
- Ensure that supplier invoices are correctly authorised
- Match supplier invoices to GRN's on the EPOS system
- Post invoices and credit notes into the accounting system
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details
- Reconcile supplier statement
- Prepare invoices to be paid on payment run.
- Cashbook postings and reconciliations
- Filing invoices
- Be first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
- Other admin duties as required

**Experience Required**
- Previous experience in a similar Purchase Ledger role
- A self-starter with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of accounting packages, ideally Sage/Xero
- Experienced in Microsoft office packages with strong Excel skills
- Demonstrable experience of bookkeeping
- Ability to work towards deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately
