Receptionist/reservationist

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanour, ensuring they have a memorable first impression of Holbeck Ghyll.
- Efficiently handle reservations, both over the phone and in person, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering guest inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
- Coordinate with various departments, including housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, including managing guest mail and packages.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating guest information in our reservation system (Rezlynx).
- Provide guests with recommendations and information about local attractions, activities, and dining options.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using reservation management systems and other relevant software.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A friendly and positive attitude, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.

Shift pattern:
8:00am to 5:30pm / 11:00am to 7:30pm
Shifts include a 30 minute unpaid breaks
You will be required to work weekends

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
