The Role
Situated on the beautiful Moray Coast in the North of Scotland, Gordonstoun is widely recognised as the world leader in character education. We have a co-educational community of over 500 students aged from 6-18, who are predominantly full boarding and are drawn from over 40 countries.

**Head of Estate Job Duties include**:
- Manage and lead the Maintenance, Grounds and Security Teams by supporting the Maintenance Supervisor, Head of Grounds and Security Supervisor.
- Taking the lead on continuously developing processes across the Maintenance, Grounds and Security Teams.
- Manage and oversee the operational and capital annual budgets for Maintenance, Grounds and Security Teams.
- Assist with the development and implementation of procurement strategies within Maintenance, Grounds and Security Teams.
- Support the Director of Estates in the delivery of the site-wide Masterplan by providing accurate, timely and considered advice in verbal and written form.
- Liaising with the Director of Estates, Site Supervisor, Project Managers and Design Team as required in relation to any Masterplan building projects.
- Previous experience and the ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, customer service skills, risk assessment, joinery apprenticeship, diagnostics, fault finding, valid UK driver's license, initiative, responsibility, safety, professional appearance.
