**What** is the role?**

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will have responsibility for ensuring the development and implementation of the company’s preventative planned maintenance and certification programme and to provide technical assistance to all departments within Subsea7 on aspects of maintenance for Mobile Lay Equipment.

**What will your responsibilities involve?**
- Assisting in setting annual maintenance budget
- Support of equipment maintenance onshore by working with regional workshops, to achieve required work scopes in a timely and cost-effective manner
- During all maintenance activities, liaise with and communicate the equipment status to the OR Equipment Manager
- The management and maintenance of documentation relating to the safe operation and reliability of equipment, including but not limited to Risk Assessments, Management of Change records, Drawings, Maintenance Instructions, SUWER Assessments, Wire assurance, SMART Lessons, Access Survey, Working at Height, Financial Reports, Specifications, Photographic Records
- Responsibility for direct liaison with primary equipment vendors to ensure maintenance and modification works are carried out in a technically correct manor

**What are we looking for?**
- Ideally you will have a HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- You will have relevant previous technical experience, either onshore or offshore, at an appropriate level in the operation and maintenance of equipment
- You should have knowledge on maintenance systems i.e., SAP, & TM Master
- You will have a proven ability to collate detailed technical reports, plans & specifications
- You should have a disciplined and systematic approach to workload management
