We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Recruitment Co-ordinator to work in the Integrated Community Services Division.

This is a new post aimed at improving the speed and efficiency of the recruitment process to improve fill rates and retention.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with an operational division, understand their recruitment needs and play an active role in improving the effectiveness of recruitment to support front line services.

The post sits in the ICS Division bit will work closely with the Trusts’ Recruitment Team.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisation, co-ordination and communication skills and an ability to get things done.

An understanding of systems, ability to work without supervision and on own initiative are also important.

The post holder plays a key role in contributing to the successful coordination of recruitment services within the ICS division.

Providing and coordinating recruitment administration to agreed quality standards and within process as follows
- To provide administrative support to ensure that a comprehensive and “gold standard” recruitment/temporary staffing service is provided to the ICS Division
- Act as a link between the ICS Division and Recruitment to communicate both ways, optimise the processes and resolve any issues quicky.
- To co-ordinate and oversee all local recruitment processes for the ICS Division. E.G. putting jobs on Trac, coordinating shortlisting and interview dates
- Attend ICS Meetings and provide information on recruitment progress. To supervise and delegate, where appropriate, work to other administrative colleagues within the Division

- Develop good working relationships with managers and colleagues in the ICS Division and aim to provide advice that both supports the manager in achieving their objective and ensures that Trust policy and statutory requirements are followed.- Where required by the ICS Division, place posts on TRAC and manage the TRAC process.- Have daily oversight of all ICS posts on TRAC and ensure optimum flow.- Working with Recruitment Manager help the ICS Division utilise optimum places to advertise (including innovative use of local social media, geographically targeted adverts and placing adverts on non-NHS forums and networks).- With guidance form the Recruitment team support the ICS Division on new forms of recruitment/advertising including working with the Communications Team to help produce ‘A day in the life’ short videos which can be used as part of recruitment campaigns.- Assess, prioritise and manage own workload to ensure a smooth and efficient service. Frequently re-evaluate priorities and adapt accordingly to meet changes in demand.- Help arrange, co-ordinate and support the organisation of careers fairs/campaigns, assessment centres, interviews and any other processes to support selection and onboarding processes within the ICS Division.- Help arrange, co-ordinate and support cohort (centralised) recruitment events for the ICS Division.- Help ensure the Division is optimising its recruitment and retention approach to try and attract and retain staff who match the demographic make-up of the wider population- Support initial on-boarding of all new recruits to the ICS Division including holding a log of new recruits and prompting service leads to ensure preceptorship, on-boarding and stay conversations happen on time and are correctly documented.- Work unsupervised and without direction, whilst recognising the need to refer to others for support/guidance when required.- Demonstrate duties to new or less experienced employees associated with the duties of the role.
- Point of escalation for other administrative colleagues within the Division, providing 121 support, supervision and directing work where appropriate.- Keep abreast of current legislation and attend appropriate training in order to maintain and improve professional knowledge.- Carrying out other appropriate delegated duties as required.- The job description and person specification are an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role.
