Hardsoft Ltd are a 40 year trading family business with a unique niche in IT Leasing. As resellers for Apple, Microsoft, Dell and many more we have over 5000 clients and have had 20% growth year on year for the last 3 years.

We are looking to fill an existing position during a busy period of expansion and bring someone into our procurement department to work with the Head of Purchasing, who oversees procurement of over £ 10 Million of stock per annum.

The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology and computers, procurement, administration and logistics background.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- The role is to assist the Head of Purchasing with the ordering/receiving of IT equipment
- Identifying purchasing needs
- Purchasing of standard and non-standard stock items
- Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery
- Working with suppliers and couriers when issues occur
- Organise overseas deliveries
- Monitor stock level
- Report shortages and order discrepancies.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding any shortage, missing items, bad quality products etc.
- Sourcing and negotiating with existing suppliers, challenging prices where relevant.
- Upholding procurement strategy
- Maximising profitability and minimising risk to the Business
- Undertaking stock control and administration activities
- Assist deployment team with admin tasks
- Act as a link between Deployment, Purchasing and Sales teams to help with day to day tasks

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Previous experience in the IT industry is a plus.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Time management.
- Attention to detail.
- Positive can-do attitude
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
