**About the apprenticeship**:
Our Apprenticeship programmes have become well established over many years within our various sites in the UK, and we are proud to see the success and development of the employees who began their career on our apprenticeship programmes.
You will obtain a nationally recognised apprenticeship standard in Performing Engineering Operations, Business Improvement Techniques, as well as industry specific qualifications. Once the Level 3 qualification has been achieved you will have the opportunity to study towards a HNC qualification.
During your apprenticeship you will learn to work in an efficient and confident way, and develop skills such as:
- Mechanical/Engineering aptitude
- Technical systems knowledge
- Trouble shooting through hands on experience
- Strong communication and collaboration
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong Health and Safety awareness
- STEM skills
We’ll provide all of the tools to help you succeed. In return we ask you to bring your enthusiasm and passion to learn and develop.
We keep our list of requirements short, but there are a few that you will need:
- You will have a minimum of 4 GCSE qualifications at standard grade C/grade 5 or above, including Maths and English
- You will be willing to learn and take a positive approach to problem solving
- You will have the ability to be flexible and manage time effectively
- You will have great attention to detail
- You will be a team player
