The Affordable Group manufactures windows & doors and has been established for over 30 years and supplies the building trade throughout the UK. We have doubled our turnover over the last 5 years and now employ over 350 staff in Blackpool and Poulton-Le-Fylde.

The Affordable Group is a “John Lewis “ type of business where employees [ with 12 months of service ] receive a share in the profits. The profit share for 2023 after deductions for every employee was £2000. We believe in promotion from within and almost all senior management started as junior employees.

**Job Overview**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding as necessary
- Spray paint scratches and holes
- Once colour spray per job, hence no mixing involved.
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time

**FULL training will be provided**

**Desired but not essential**:

- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Knowledge of spray painting techniques and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and an eye for colour
- Good communication and time management skills

Monday to Friday 7:45 am to 4:00 pm

**Starting pay **:£12.50ph (review after 3 months) + yearly pay review
