Dakota Hotel based in **Manchester City Centre** are seeking a strong administrator for the role of Reservationist.

**CONTRACT AND PAY RATE**

The role carries a permanent contract of a minimum of 40 hours per week and typical shifts will be varied working any 5 days out of 7 and working weekends with a minimum of one weekend off a month. The gross annual salary is £25,500.00, paid monthly.

**PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Reporting into our Reservations Manager, work with the objective of maximising occupancy and bedroom rate.
- Be knowledgeable about our current special packages and upsell to increase revenue.
- Coordinate guest stays, tailoring their experience based on their needs by offering a range of additional services and packages, noting guest requests and building profile preferences.
- Work closely with Guest Relations and the Reception Team to give recognition to our repeat guests, groups and Lifestyle App members.
- To be confident in computer use and develop a comprehensive knowledge of our bedroom and restaurant booking systems.
- Provide a consistently excellent level of guest service in accordance to our service principles and values, ensuring that all guests receive special attention and recognition.
- Offer additional services out with simply the bedroom booking to make the guest experience more seamless i.e. making restaurant reservations, assisting in directions etc.

**APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS**

The successful applicant will have/be:

- A minimum of one years experience working in a hotel environment in Reservations, Reception or Guest Relations.
