**About the role and our team**

As Chief Officer, you be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the Department of Health & Social Care on the Island

You will be experienced in developing policy and strategy within a complex organisation and have significant understanding of policy and legislative development within health and care. You will need to provide clear, visible and values-led leadership and direction for the Department, maintaining effective and efficient use of resources. You will also be lead on the development of Departmental strategies and plans in support of the Island Plan.
