As a Transport Watchkeeper, you will provide an out of hours vehicle booking service, a transport fleet scheduling function and facilitate an out of hours walk in service for the customer.

You will act as the out of hours point of contact for drivers, customer queries and to deal with reactive transport occurrences.

Other key responsibilities of this role include administering and completing all paperwork associated with the smooth running of the transport operation, including tasking sheets, VUR’s, driver check sheets and driver’s hour’s record cards, and liaising with contract hire and outside repair agencies to facilitate delivery/collection of vehicles, as well as taking responsibility for arranging out of hours driver cover and tasking of the on-call night duty drivers as required.

You’ll be part of a large team of skilled individuals, so to be successful in this role, you must be a team worker with the ability to pay attention to detail, and with demonstrable customer service experience. You should be able to identify customer needs and respond to them appropriately.

**Ready to join the team?**

You must be IT Literate and have a current Category B Licence (Car) with no endorsements. It would be additionally desirable to have a Licence Category’s D1 minibus but not essential.

**Salary: up to £28,800 per annum**

**Location: Larkhill**
