**Veterinary Dispensing Assistant**
- Salary from £23,920.00 per annum
- Full time, 40 hours per week (slightly shorter hours per week considered)
- Based at our busy Westergate and Worthing branch clinics (Mon, Wed, Fri Westergate & Tues, Thu Worthing)

You will be required to assist in the dispensing of selected veterinary medications that have been prescribed by a veterinary surgeon. Your main responsibilities will be fulfilling repeat medication requests in line with veterinary medicine regulations.

Main roles and responsibilities will include:

- Process repeat medication requests received via our client chat portal.
- Label and dispense selected prescriptions in an efficient and accurate manner and in accordance with standard operating procedures and legal regulations.
- Create and update patient medication records in accordance with data protection principles to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Use the chat portal to inform owners their medications are ready to collect.
- Undertake all necessary housekeeping duties so that dispensary areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Work as part of a team and actively demonstrate a willingness to support and achieve the overall business objectives.
- Experience in a dispensary or chemist environment
- Have good IT skills using MS 365 packages including Excel, Work, Outlook, and also Googlesheets/spreadsheets.
- Must have good attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Has a valid driving licence and own car due to locations
- Must be self-motivated, organised, and logical, with good attention to detail, and personable.
