Commercial Finance Analyst

NC Associates are working with a long established and reputable manufacturing organisation based in Nelson Burnley to help assist them recruiting a Commercial Finance Analyst to work very closely with the senior management team. As a Commercial Finance Analystyou will provide management with meaningful, accurate and timely financial information to support decision making for the business. Analysing complex financial information developing financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.

This role requires you to work in a matrix structure working closely with Financial Controller, Project Accountants and Commercial Managers

**Duties**
- Preparation & consolidation of monthly forecasting and annual budget information
- Preparation of daily and weekly Cash Flows
- Preparation and review of Capex files
- Responsible for preparation of Monthly Business Review coordinating within the business as appropriate
- Support FD in development of reporting tools related to the diversification activities of the business
- Support the Commercial Managers in preparation of commercial project margin reviews, ensure regular reviews with leadership team of projects are executed

**Essential Experience Required**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Commercial Finance or Management Accounting role, preferably in a similar industry.
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA Part Qualified - Qualified
- Experience using ERP System such as SAP, Oracle and Hyperion beneficial
- Experience of developing systems to transform finance using tools such as, PowerBI, PowerQuery, SQL desirable but not essential
- Sound analytical skills, good planning/ organisation skills, attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to identify problems and find solutions whilst delivering corporate expectations
- Ability to prioritise effectively and to work to tight deadlines
