The role will be working within the Material Planning department and the role will comprise of:
Coordinating the supply of material in a timely manner, managing the supply chains affectively and initiate problem resolution with suppliers / process partners which may affect continuity of supply.
Management of LPMS - Ensuring parts availability on time, supporting schedule adherence
Management of master data ensuring correct schedules are broadcast and maintaining the agreed stock levels
The use of targets, monitors and planning tools to progressively develop improvements on:
*JIS/JIT supply concepts and their working systems.
*Cost - through reducing: Stocks; emergency transport; stock loss and improving the supply concepts
*Quality Improvements in Supply quality; Long term planning; Information & systems
Good communication skills - oral and written
Problem ownership and resolution
Proficient IT Skills (office & relevant Company systems)
Engineering and technical background
Knowledge of PEP Process
Knowledge of supply chains
