Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. This is a rewarding position that requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of senior care, and the ability to lead and supervise a team.

**Duties**:

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to care plans and ensure proper documentation
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical professionals
- Create and update care plans based on individual needs and preferences
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and record keeping

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is required
- Strong knowledge of senior care practices and principles
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using IT systems for documentation purposes
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred
- Ability to supervise and lead a team of care assistants
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to make sound decisions

**Salary**: £11.60-£11.65 per hour
