**Salary**:Up to £36,000.00 per annum plus Veolia benefits
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

**What you'll be doing;**
- Supervision of the Transfer Station and Folkestone Yard.
- Supervise up to 4 employees within your team.
- Ensure the site has competent operational staff.
- Lead and train by example whilst on site.
- Act as deputy for the Operations Manager if required.
- Ensure clear communication between team members.
- Build relationships with hauliers, customers and all colleagues.
- Ensure staff are fully trained and identify areas of training needed.
- Assist in the management of bin stock and distribution.
- Maximise and utilise the fixed and mobile plant on site.
- Ensure the materials tipped at the Transfer Station are recycled and as much as possible is recovered.
- Ensure any defects or damages are reported.
**What we're looking for;**
- Health and Safety knowledge and experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Environmental knowledge and experience.
- CoTC (Certificate of Technical Competence) - Desirable
- IOSH & First Aid Trained - Desirable
- Experience within the waste management industry in a supervisory role, with particular experience of operating transfer stations and waste movement - Desirable
