**PHP & Python Engineer**

You will own the Machine Learning tools & pipelines within the engineering team. You will be responsible for researching, purchasing & implementing off the shelf ML solutions whilst we scale to in-house systems. You will need to ensure that the systems webuy-in work with our existing architecture and web-app which includes our AWS-based Assessment Engine & API's and integration with the systems that use them.

This is our third engineering hire and as such you will have the ability to influence the technical direction of our platform alongside the early engineering team. Building on the baseline capability delivered to date, your primary responsibility will beto add ML Features to the Assessment Engine as it is deployed to clients whilst planning & building the technological foundations for the business to scale.#

**About You**

The right person for this role will be a highly internally motivated individual contributor, with strong experience and interest in using Machine Learning to improve process.

It is important that you have an understanding of, and can manage, the implementation of NLP services such speech-to-text (specifically in the healthcare fields) and large NLP Models (such as GPT-3) in conjunction with in-house data pipelines.

**A Few Things We're Looking For**
- Degree in Computer Science
- 5-6 years' experience with general purpose programming languages such as PHP, Python, etc.
- 2-3 years experience working with two or more from the following: NLP tools, data pipelines, data architecture & data storage protocols with ML-focus.
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Experience Experience setting-up & maintaining CI/CD pipeline setting-up & maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- You have the willingness to help out and support a small team at every level of the stack alongside your core duties
- Desire to learn the areas where you do not have experience.
