Finance Officer

RM Recruit are working with a brilliant organisation in the Third Sector based in Erdington who are on the lookout for a Finance Officer on a full-time basis for circa 3 months.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business where you will be key in adding value to the finance team.
Main duties:
- Preparation of the VAT returns on a monthly basis.
- Support in the completion of the twice monthly BACS payments runs ie. invoices and expenses
- Journal postings
- Credit card reconciliation
- Assist in the preparation of regular management accounts for budget holders
- Processing sales & purchase invoices
- Chase outstanding debts
- Processing expenses
- Supporting the finance team in ad hoc duties
- Oversee the management and reconciliation of petty cash
- Posting of all payments & receipts
- Bank reconciliation
