The 86 place nursery is very lucky to have a large garden which has a good range of climbing, balancing and sliding equipment There is also a sand pit and planting areas - we love access to outdoor play in all weathers The nursery run a number of extra-curricular activities including Tops Forest School, cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, meditation and much more

**Duties**:

- Lead and manage the staff team and share knowledge on Forest School
- Plan, prepare and deliver a range of Forest School sessions
- Contribute to a programme of activities that meet the individual needs and interests of children and the Early Years Framework.
- Using the EY Log to maintain learning journeys, next steps and observations and to regularly monitor all children’s learning journeys.
- Understand key children’s culture, first language and current development plans to identify areas for improvement, working with colleagues to provide a stimulating environment for children to meet emotional, intellectual and social goals.
- Maintaining accurate records of children’s development and use information learnt to support future planning, development and learning.

**Minimum requirement**:

- Hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification either Level 3 or equivalent
- Level 3 Forest School trained
- Up to 60% discount for Childcare within Tops Day Nurseries
