IT Field Engineer

**IT Field Engineer (Field, Engineer, Windows, On-site, IT, Support, Active Directory, LAN, WAN, Network, Imaging) - Permanent - Wrotham**

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an IT Field Engineer on a permanent basis for a large UK business based out of Wrotham. This role will consist of travel to other sites.

**Location**: Wrotham (with travel to another site in Central London twice a week)

**Salary**: £30,000 - £33,000 Per Annum

**Skills/Requirements for the IT Field Engineer**:

- Previous experience as a Field Engineer
- Strong Windows operating systems experience around Windows 7/10
- Hardware support including Printers, Scanners, PC’s and Laptops
- Experience of both Imaging PC’s and Laptops
- Strong LAN and WAN experience
- Ability to work on Network hardware ports and routers
- Experience of working within DNS/DHCP in the past is desirable

Start date for the IT Field Engineer is ASAP

This is a field based role so will require a driving licence.

**The IT Field Engineer will be responsible for**:

- Managing and prioritising technical support workload
- Provide technical support to other sites as part of a distributed Helpdesk service.
- Installing new hardware and software for users as instructed
- Undertaking basic administration of PBX and cloud based phone system. (Training will be given).
- Updating & maintaining asset register of ICT hardware.
- Carrying out network audits such as asset location and security checks.
- Ensure that all software installations comply with the End User License Agreements.
- Escalating unresolved issues to other teams and senior members of the IT team
