A great opportunity has arisen for a Façade Engineer / Senior Façade Engineer to join a growing consultancy in London. The company provide design, consultancy, survey, construction, manufacturing and building management services to clients across the UK.The successful Façade Engineer will have a strong background in façade design and have a relevant qualification.

**Façade Engineer Position Overview**:

- Technical and engineering design input projects.
- Developing the specifications and other technical data.
- Leading and managing design projects.
- Help in the creation of standard details and procedures.
- Production of drawings using AutoCAD or other software (when necessary)
- Checking the work of other staff and external design and drafting consultants.
- Finding new products and keeping database of facade product information up-to-date.
- Visit sites during construction and report to client.
- Engineering and management of façade design projects, large and small May be involved in the investigation and survey of façades as and when necessary.

**Façade Engineer Position Requirements**
- Experience in façade engineering (i.e. structural design and thermal analysis)
- Experience with a contractor would be valuable.
- Design skills in all aspects of facade engineering including, glass, bespoke facades systems, curtain walls, rainscreen cladding systems, façade components and products, diverse variety of materials, manufacturing techniques and construction methods.
- Project management experience is desirable.
