- To provide clerical and administration duties, maintaining an efficient and friendly service to patients, relatives and staff
- To liaise with staff in the Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (as required) and external providers
- Support the manager and the administrative team in the administrative function as required
- To project the professional image of the business through demonstrating excellent customer care in all activities
- Provide an effective and efficient administrative support service to the designated team to ensure consistency across the service area.
- Support the delivery of a comprehensive administration and support function to the service areas to meet the needs of patients, service users andrelatives.
- Undertake a range of and administrative duties to support the customer needs.
- Provide general administrative support within the team(s) including answering telephone calls, taking messages, setting up meetings, archiving, scanning and general photocopying as required.
- Monitor your own workload and indicate to your manager or more senior staff when you anticipate periods of quiet or too much work and support others with their workloads to ensure that the work required is completed by the team.
- Assisting with and maintaining filing and recording systems, including recording statistics, archiving and monitoring systems.
- To participate in the opening, sorting and the distribution of post.
- To be flexible and willing to cover the mental Health Act Offices at Charlton Lane or Wotton Lawn should the need arise
- To ensure that mandatory training is up to date and appropriate to role
