An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated and passionate team who are committed to ensuring the ENT department is a reference point of excellence in South Tyneside and Sunderland and across the NHS.
We are looking for a Consultant in Otolaryngology with a specialist interest in Otology. Applicants should possess a Fellowship with Accreditation in Otolaryngology FRCS (ORL HNS) or equivalent, have full GMC registration, be on the specialist register (or be within six months of obtaining CCT in Otolaryngology) and have a sub specialty interest in Otology. Although not essential, you will ideally have spent some time in an Otology based Fellowship position. The post is a substantive full-time post with an indicative 10PA job plan, although consideration will be given to applicants wishing to work less than full time. On call will be at 1:9.
