We are currently seeking an ambitious, welcoming and organised Event Supervisor to join our incredibly talented Private Dining and Events team within our Food and Beverage Department

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
Assisting the management team with the preparation of our meeting and conference facilities and the execution of the diverse range of dining experiences created
Planning and running exclusive private dining experiences from conference lunches and coffee breaks, to barbeques and luxury dinners
Focusing on quality of service, you’ll be responsible mentoring a team of servers, ensuring they are fully equipped to play their part in each event
Maintaining excellence, you’ll ensure all spaces are prepared for service and set to our client’s desires and expectations, all within a luxury setting.
Attending to guest concerns in a dynamic environment where no two issues are ever the same, you’ll deal with a wide variety of challenges head on and look for opportunities to resolve in a positive way
Planning for success, you’ll meet with the department Head Chef on a daily basis to discuss menu and guests’ food requirements, including highlighting any guest allergies, alongside raising any other food service requirements to pre-empt any expected challenges
Organising you and your team; you’ll prepare all stock and relevant equipment for each event, ensuring all beverage items are meticulously controlled, counted and stored accordingly
Processing all food and beverage events charges daily so invoices and bills are presented to guests accurately and swiftly delivered
Supporting your colleagues in our outlets across the estate, you’ll have the opportunity to experience a full range of luxury service in a Food & Beverage setting
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

**The kind of person we're looking for**:
Having had previous operational events supervisor experience would be ideal, however having a great attitude is essential
Your perspective and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time
Getting it right first time, you will have a meticulous eye and take pride in the small details and ensure everything is of the highest quality
Adaptable and flexible, you can adjust your approach to work and challenges in a positive manner
You are energised and fuelled by a high paced operation and equally high expectations. You’re resilient, and skilled at managing multiple and often competing priorities
You enjoy working to deadlines and have outstanding organisational and time management skills
Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
