Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a large company based in Hackbridge who are looking for a Payroll Officer on a permanent basis. The ideal person will have at least 3 years experience completing end to end payroll and will be confident to work ina sole capacity. Our client is willing to offer hybrid/flexible working

**Duties Include**:

- Ensure the accurate processing of starters, pay changes & leavers, accurately calculating pro-rata payments.
- Run fortnightly and monthly payroll runs
- Process payroll and initiate payment of net pay and any other associate pay
- Set up holiday and shift patterns in Sage
- Undertake payroll error checking and provide payroll reports to the finance team
- Post-commit ensure that all HMRC filing is completed in time.
- Reconcile payroll accounts each month
- Maintain accurate records of all changes made to payroll and prepare reports as necessary

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in payroll
- Able to use Sage
- Previous experience using a recognised payroll software and an ability to download and manipulate data providing reports and analysis is highly desirable.
- Current knowledge of UK payroll procedures and related legislation
- Excellent Excel skills
- An understanding of pensions, in particular auto-enrolment is desirable.
