Since 1984, our client has served Bristol and Birmingham, training young barbers and hairdressers through work-based learning in salons alongside regular training sessions.

If you’re a qualified or experienced hairdresser, you could help develop the skills, knowledge and individual needs of young people joining the industry by becoming our new **Hairdressing Tutor Assessor.**

**Tutor/Assessor Duties to include**:

- Delivering and assessing of our Apprenticeship and study programme for Hairdressing - Level 2/ 3
- Working with learners and employers in raising the standards and quality of training and maintaining the grade 1 provision offered
- Working with young people in developing personal skills and supporting them to develop with their chosen career
- Supporting the delivery of underpinning of knowledge through training sessions workshops and contribute towards the delivery of new standards
- Preparing all workshops and sessions to offer inspiring and interactive delivery
- Monitoring learner progress and performance in meeting their individual needs, aspirations and set targets
- Schedule timely visits and carry out assessments/training within the workplace
- Supporting learners within their Maths/English developments and functional skills underpinning throughout their Apprenticeship.
- Demonstrating high-quality training with up-to-date standards to an advanced level
- A Passion for Hairdressing and enjoy delivering up to date industry training to young people in developing their skills
- Creativity and have the confidence to deliver Hairdressing standards to groups of learners and one to one
- D32/33 -A1 /CAVA**(preferred or qualified by experience)**:

- Strong communication skills, approachable and able to initiate ideas
- Ability to prioritise, good organisational skills and ability to adhere to deadlines and targets.
- Flexible approach and ability to inspire and motivate learning
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of personal presentation.
- Be a friendly and professional team player
- A driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential
