**Definition of the Role**:
Assist the kitchen team to provide an excellent catering service, be an excellent team player and work well under pressure. Assist in the day to day operations of the clubhouse kitchen ensuring the highest standards are maintained in accordance with the Club traditions.

**Purpose of the Role**:
Working under the guidance of the Head Chef ensure that the kitchen is clean and operational. Responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness of work areas and surfaces. Maintaining a safe, clean working environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with food preparation standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
- Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately.
- Sorting, storing, and distributing ingredients.
- Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts.
- Disposing of rubbish.
- Organising linen laundry.
- Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.

**Salary**: £6.03-£11.17 per hour
