We are currently seeking a yard operative for an immediate start to work for our client in Lacock

As a Yard operative you will Ensure the perimeters and yards of both units are litter free, maintaining the sites general appearance.
- Assist in the management of site waste, ensuring waste bays are kept clean & tidy and loading of waste onto trailers as required
- Unload delivers as required
- Ensure pallets of Pulp/ Cardboard / Plastic are correctly palletised and stored correctly
- Oversee weekly collection of liquid waste from our EIC centre
- Ensure all paperwork is passed over to the relevant departments in a timely manner - Clean under despatch bays. - Periodical gardening duties as and when required

**Experience**

Forklift Licence (valid)

Previous experience working within a manufacturing / production environment.

Health & Safety
- Be safety conscious in every task you perform and lookout for the safety of others working around you.
- Only Operate Machinery you are trained to use.
- Ensure you use the correct PPE for the task and that the PPE is in good condition.
- Ensure correct manual handling procedures are followed.
- Report and H&S concerns immediately.

Level 2 or above Food Safety and HACCP is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
- Must be willing to undertake both food safety qualifications during probationary period. Employment confirmation is based on ability to pass these mandatory qualifications.
- Comply with all hygiene and food safety procedures. - Report and Food Safety concerns immediately.

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00

**Must have access to transport to the clients location.**

**Job Types**: Permanent, Temp to perm

**Salary**: From £10.60 per hour
