**Housekeeping Supervisor / Senior Housekeeper**who is both reliable and friendly with strong leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail is required for a prestigious hotel based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

**SALARY**:£12.50 to £13.50 per hour (dependant on experience)

**LOCATION**:Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor / Senior Housekeeperwho is both reliable and friendly with strong leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail.

Working as a Housekeeping Supervisor/ Senior Housekeeper your duties will include ensuring that assigned rooms are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard, as well as the ability to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a politemanner.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor / Senior Housekeeper you must be honest, pleasant, and have detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards.

**DUTIES**

Your role as a Housekeeping Supervisor / Senior Housekeeper will include:

- Supervision of room attendants throughout their working day
- Checking of rooms marked clean, noting any additional cleaning required before finalising the clean status ready for guests
- Support of all room attendants, porters, public area cleaners in their day-to-day role
- Working closely with Deputy and Head housekeepers to meet cleaning performance targets
- Working closely with the entire cleaning staff to always deliver excellent levels of cleaning

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous housekeeping experience
- Strong leadership qualities
- Great communication skills, bilingual/multilingual persons are desired
- Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Ability to supervise to meet high-performance standards
- Physical mobility and stamina
- Ability to follow instructions
- Professional and polite
- High school diploma, preferred
