Paint Operative

I have a client in the Ollerton area looking for someone to manage and operate the day to day running of the branch paint workshop.

They are a market leader and have a loyal customer base that they have successfully traded to for over 40 years. They have a clean environment and have a team all working together to work towards one main aim. If you have a mechnical background this is desirable.

Job Duties:

- Manage the paint shop
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Maintaining product quality
- Support final inspection and dispatch
- Respond to other Ad-Hoc requests made by higher management as and when required.

Requirement/ Experience/ Competence/ Qualifications:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of QHSE legislation
- Experience/ Knowledge on how to use a manual paint spray gun.
- Experience/ knowledge on how to record, complete and follow relevant PQDs (Job Card, Wis, Paint Schedules, Def: Stan - Paint systems)

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 16:30pm Friday: 7:30am to 13:30pm

15 min break mid morning = paid

30 min break lunch = unpaid

15 min break mid afternoon = paid

Pay rate: £10.20hr, reviewed after 3 months and is increased.
