**The role**
The Senior HR Business Partner is an exciting new role to lead the transformation of our advice, guidance and partnering services to MaPS employees. This includes implementing a new way of working to enable HR Business Partners to focus on senior level guidance,complex queries, casework and MaPS wide projects. This role requires a confident leader, highly experienced in both partnering and transformation. You will have the ability to engage people through the change process, but also the resilience to overcome challengesor resistance to achieve excellent HR service. It is important that you can inspire trust and confidence through yourself and your team and establish credibility through effective partnership skills by consistently delivering against commitments.
**Key accountabilities**:

- Drive change and deliver the transformation of our advice, guidance and business partnering service.
- Create a team culture of high performance, behavioural excellence, solution focus and personal responsibility.
- Lead a team of HRBP’s to provide high quality support, guidance and constructive challenge to MaPS directors and their senior teams, as their trusted advisors.
- Through the HRBP team, coach and develop the capability of senior managers to anticipate and find solutions to organisational issues.
- Be a role model to the team - strive for excellence through a culture of continuous development.
- Take accountability for incorporating changes to legislation and case law into HR Policy.
- Adopt a pro-active, data led approach to inform people related decisions.
- Ensure that tools and policies are aligned and applied consistently, to enhance employee engagement and ultimately improve performance.
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of service delivery.
- Manage team member workload and development to ensure consistent delivery and implementation across MaPS.

**Skills & experience**:

- Significant experience as a Senior HRBP, with a track record of leading a team of HRBP’s through change.
- Proven experience in leading transformation to create new ways of working, resulting in high performance and service excellence.
- Ability to coach, develop and constructively challenge team members.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
- CIPD accredited or studying towards CIPD accreditation.
- Good attention to detail and track record of delivery to agreed timescales.
- Positive mindset, resilient and resourceful in the face of challenges.
