An opportunity has arisen for a band 8a Prescribing Adviser to join our Primary care medicines management team of pharmacists and technicians. You will work with and support GP practices and Neighbourhood Networks (NCNs) across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board

The role includes
- Ensuring safe, evidence based and cost-effective prescribing within GP practices.
- Advising GP practices and NCNs on their performance against national and local prescribing indicators, supporting the implementation of change where necessary.
- Monitoring and advising on prescribing expenditure, reducing costs where appropriate
- Supporting the delivery of the ABUHB Medicines Management Strategy and work programme.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
